Electrical faults can have more than one possible cause. We inspect and test the affected circuit, equipment and switchboard so the recommended repair is based on what we find, not assumptions.

STRAIGHT ADVICE

Repeated tripping needs proper fault finding.

A circuit breaker or safety switch can trip for several reasons. Repeated tripping should not be ignored, and resetting it does not identify the cause.

We test the circuit and connected equipment before recommending work. If a repair is sufficient, we’ll say so. If the switchboard or circuit needs upgrading, we’ll explain what is required and why.

Why does my safety switch keep tripping?

There are several possible causes, including a problem with an appliance, circuit or electrical wiring. Testing is usually required to identify the source rather than repeatedly resetting the safety switch.

How do I know if my switchboard needs upgrading?

Older ceramic fuses, limited safety-switch protection, visible damage or insufficient capacity for additional circuits may indicate that an assessment is needed. We inspect the existing switchboard before recommending an upgrade.

Can you repair faulty lights, switches and power points?

Yes. We can inspect and repair faulty lighting, switches, power points and associated circuits. If a fitting or component needs replacing, we’ll explain the available options.

Do you provide electrical repairs for businesses?

Yes. We complete electrical fault finding, repairs and switchboard work for workplaces and commercial properties. Where possible, the work can be planned around your operating requirements.

Will you explain the cost before completing the repair?

Fault finding may be required before the exact repair can be confirmed. Once the cause is identified, we’ll explain the findings, recommended work and available options before proceeding.
